Hall School | Wimbledon
Project Story
4 Modern Classrooms by School Architect Wimbledon | Hall School
The existing buildings at Hall School Wimbledon are in need of an upgrade. An expansion in teaching space is required as the existing teaching space is not suitable to accommodate the additional intake of pupil numbers proposed from the movement of the junior school into the senior school. As such the proposal set out below seeks to resolve the above issues, whilst also maintaining the character and appearance of the locally listed building within the Conservation Area.
The proposed development includes the erection of a two-story modular building to the southwest of the main building. The proposals will provide approximately 182sq.m of additional floorspace (91 sq.m at ground and first floor levels), comprising 4 formal classrooms. The proposals will include a canopy located between the existing building and the proposed modular building of approximately 20sq.m.
